4th Oceania Championships

29-30 March 2008 - AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND, ASB Stadium, Auckland

SCHEDULE

5pm - 9 pm Weigh in (for those that can make it) and registration / set up. All helpers welcome.

7pm - 8 pm Officials meeting  (includes helpers) Coaches welcome.

7.30 - 8.15 am Weigh In and registration

8.00 - 8.20 am Officials Briefing

The Stadium floor will be closed until the formal opening - all spectators and competitors are asked to remain either upstairs or in foyer until call to form up

8.30 - 8.40 am Formal opening - Blessing / Speech / Anthems

9.00 am - Individual pattern competition begins (gup and dan), all 4 rings.

11.30 am - Individual Gup Sparring - 4 rings     BB Special and Power in parallel

1.00 pm - Lunch

1.45 pm - Officials afternoon briefing (changeover)

2.00 pm - Restart

4.30 pm - Wind down

5pm - 5.30 pm Tidy up of areas - End of Day 

7.30 am - Doors Open Staduim remains closed till form up, for maintainence check 

8.00 am - Officials to Officials area for morning briefing - duty designation

8.30 am - Form Up - Announcements for the day

8.45 am - Competition begins

Black Belt Sparring 4 Rings, Team Patterns

12.30 pm - Lunch

1.15 pm - Officials afternoon briefing

1.30 pm - Pre Arranged Sparring, Team Sparring

4.30 pm - Wind down, Awards / Acknowledgements, Clean up

6.00 pm - Safe journeys and thanks for your contribution.
