Hupkido class

Hey there!

So sorry this update took so long, as you will see iv been rather busy!

This week was changee changee week!
Its crazy!
So i wake up and go down to the dojang Sunday morning and im told we are going to seoul for the week!

The reason for going to seoul i later found out that it was because rafal (the Polish teacher) had to go home so i was going there to take over for the week!
The classes i tought were at a hupkido dojang so i got to join in in some of the classes!

After two days of teaching, i got picked up by the preident and we went to Tonyung ( was meant to stay in seuol for the whole week, once again not sure what happened there!)
Tonyoung originally was called choong moo, its a small tourist town has lots of beaches and is really nice!

Anyway we went around to a few more dojangs and talked to some wtf masters, well i didnt do much talking, we always go to these little meetings im not sure why i have to go i just sit there trying not to look too bored!

Once we got bach to Gimhae i spent the weekend hanging with my host family, we went to a friend of theirs resort, it was so nice with an amazing view. The next day we sepnt in koreas version of Hawaii, i wouldnt exactly call it that lol it was a huge outdoor swimming complex. So many people were there as its school holidays at the moment. Its not like i dont get stared at enought in the streets here but in 'hawaii' it was so much worse, a few of the children came up and touched me on the arm, they are facinated with white people!

Last night i came back to Tongyung, form now i wil be teaching here for the first three days of the week then in Gimhae for the other two, the WTF Master adn his wife are really nice her they are taking me windsurfing and diving one weekend!

OKay thats enough from me, sorry it took so long to get a second update!

First Report from Estee Speirs...

OKay 1st update,
not too much time.

Annong haseyo!
That's pretty much all the korean i know as of yet! (slack i know)

OKay, arrived in seoul on Saturday, Kim and jung (i think) picked me up, they never really introduced themselves so i still don't know if that's actually who they are!

Anyway long drive to Busan meant to be 4 hours but took 6, neither of the guys speak english really so it was a quiet trip home.

Experienced changee changee (already) spent night in motel in Busan, Sunday we went to the beach, was packed out couldn't play cricket on the sand like in nz. Cant do much at all beach really!

Meet family im staying with, really nice nikki and vikki ( two kids) are really shy but so cute! nikki is in one of my classes he is very good and well behaved for me!

1st classes went well, mainly games. The boys are not that interested i being there, the girls were really nice and helpful (of course)

Yesterday was a Holiday so i was taken to the national museum and a the tomb of king suro ( i think) it was very nice! then i found these two huge department stores ( okay huge if you come form palmerston north, Auckland not so much!)

Last night there was a festival in the park just by my apartment so i checked that out, was really cool with lots of lights and water type shows!

One more thing, Mark Trotter (one of my awesome instructors!) asked me to write a short summary for him to read hah!
