This is an event not to be missed!
This is the first of a number of updates for
the ITFNZ Nationals to be hosted by Counties
Manukau this year.
The event will be held at the ASB Stadium,
Kohimarama, Auckland on the 22nd - 23rd September
2007. Organisation for this event is well underway
and information will be updated on the webpage
regularly.
This year’s Nationals will be a showcase
event that meets the needs of the participants,
officials, supporters, and spectators.
To keep everyone informed we will be updating
this web page on the ITFNZ site to ensure that
as much information is available as possible.
We hope to see you all at the Nationals and
are aiming to make it something really special.
The Venue...
The ASB Stadium is big enough to house five
rings as well as having areas for warm up
and preparation.
There is a substantial amount of seating for
competitors and spectators at the venue so
we will be restricting access to the competition
floor areas to competitors and officials only.
Based in Kohimarama, close to Mission Bay,
this venue is within walking distance to banks,
shopping and cafes.
We will shortly be adding a map and the locations
of suggested accommodation.

The
Format…
The format for the event is still being planned
as we are in discussions with sponsors and
potential television coverage.
Individual Black Belt events will be held
on the Saturday.
Gup Individual events and Black Belt Team events
will be held on the Sunday.
There is also a need to ensure that we have
enough officials to meet the programme requirements
and provide a showcase ITF Taekwon-Do event
for competitors and spectators.
We will of course let everyone know in plenty
of time to prepare! |
