The 2021 STAR SERIES TOURNAMENTSAnnouncing the return of the STAR SERIES TOURNAMENTS!
In order to provide as much opportunity as we can for all of our students to compete, we are proud to announce that this year we are running three open tournaments in place of the U-18 series.
As a link to our past, the open tournaments will be called the Star Series.
We will run all of the age group divisions in each tournament and will keep track of series results so that we can award Star Series champions for both juniors and seniors at the end of the year.
| The iTkd Tournament Advisory Group invites interested parties to submit proposals for sponsorship of the 2021 Star Series tournaments. Early indications are that interest in the Star Series will be high, and as a result sponsors can expect significant exposure to the iTKD membership and their families and friends. All levels/types of sponsorship will be considered. iTKd is however under no obligation to accept any or all proposals, and reserves the right to negotiate with one or more respondents. Sponsorship proposals should be sent via email to the Tournaments Director (tournaments@itkd.co.nz) no later than 21 February 2021. |
The first Star Series tournament will be held on 28 March at the Pulman Arena in Papakura, hosted by Counties-Manukau. The other dates are 1st August and 10th October.

Mini Kids:5-8 years of age and 10th-9th Gup (see appendix 2 for specific rules)
Senior Mini Kids 5-8 years of age and yellow belt or higher
Peewee: 9 &10 years of age (all ranks)
Pre-Junior 11-14 years of age at tournament date. (all ranks)
Junior 15-17 years of age at tournament date (all ranks)
Senior 18-35 years of age at tournament date
Vets 36 + years of age at tournament date
