The Team will spend most of their Monday flying from Honduras to Houston, and on to Los Angeles.
After two days in Los Angeles, they fly home, arriving Auckland at 6.45 am Friday morning.

(lunchtime Honduras, 6am NZ ) Photos


Bex won 3 matches including beating Poland to reach finals in sparring tomorrow.
Jess won two matches to make it to the semi finals this afternoon.
In the woman's specialty all three of the NZ team (Melissa, Ami and Siobhan)
had to play off for bronze but unfortunately were unsuccessful.
Hopefully a full report in about an hour or so.

 Big training session indoors this morning and they're resting this afternoon, although there is a clothing outlet store 100 metres away which we sussed out this morning and it seems most of the team are planning on doing some damage there.

Day 1 - Thursday 6th:  the flight from Auckland to Los Angeles to Houston Texas.

6 July: The team took to the air this evening, around 12 hours flight to Los Angeles. They should hit there mid afternoon the day they left :o)

7 July: After a 2 hr stop in Los Angeles, they then have a 3 1/2 hr flight to Houston Texas - arriving there after our lunchtime Friday.
It will be 9'ish on Thursday night there.
They will have two full days, three nights, in Houston, before flying on to Honduras.

Honduras is in Central America, between (among others) Mexico and Panama.
