Special thanks to Alexis Vaughan for saying all that we wanted to say at the end of the camp, but then didn’t need to as she covered it all so well. Like I said Alexis, someone will give you that job in middle management one day soon.
Thanks to the junior BB help team for preparing the classes and ensuring everything was ready when it needed to be, we will keep you guys employed next year…sorry about the throwing up you felt the need to do for fear factor food. You guys can console yourself that while you couldn’t keep the food down, all the kids did.

Hi Kids!
We’re back…to the future that is. Don’t you just love this year’s logo, they are going to be on the T-Shirts for this years camp.
Our 10th Kids Camp; never thought there would be 10, but they are still the best fun in our year, so they are still happening.
The application forms will be available here towards the end of September, and as it’s our 10th anniversary, we are doing something a little special this year. We are inviting a few special guests to come back and teach and be a part of the camp. Some of the camps earliest attendees have gone on to become international and national successes, and they will be coming to this years camp to teach you.
We are still running our baking contest, and also we are asking you to all get dressed up as usual. The theme this year is “Back…to the Future”. This means you can come as any previous theme, and as there have been 10 of them, it means you can come as pretty much anything you like!
What happens at the Kids Camps?
Over 10 hours of intense training covering:
Sparring – You get taught by the best, then get to challenge the instructors
Breaking - with proper wooden boards, not the plastic re-breakable boards. We have half strength sizes for the real littlies
Specialty techniques - jumping kicks, jumping off walls, jumping over people, jumping on people!
Games - yes, we have one full training session devoted to playing games!
Swimming - at the famous Kids Camp swimming hole, which in reality is a freezing cold river
Entertainment – where you get to make up a show for the adults and the other kids
Fear Factor Food – where you get to try some really weird food, and watch the instructors team beat the kids teams…again!
Plus, a whole lot of other things go on at the Kids Camp, just ask anyone that has been.
Spaces are limited, so you are advised to be in early. Every year we have to turn students away because they leave it too late to enter. Remember, watch the iTKD website towards the end of September for the entry form.

As this year is our 10th year anniversary, we are inviting previous kids camp students that have made it big in the TKD world to come back and pass on their knowledge to you. As we confirm them, we will let you know. We are also making room for a few tent sites so that we can accommodate extra numbers, we want the 10th year to be big!
Our theme this year as you can see is “Back to the Future”, so take a look at the previous 9 camps and come dressed as a blast from the kids camp past!
