Mr Willy Van de Mortel (6th dan) conducted sparring seminars in New Zealand
between the 2nd and the 7th May 2005. The 2004 seminars were described
as "AMAZING" and everyone got a great deal out of them.
The ITFNZ Technical Committee in conjunction with the NZ Team Management
has combined resources to bring you these seminars - available for students
of all ranks. Mr Van de Mortel taught a range sparring skills - not all
specifically for tournaments. This helped with sparring in general, confidence
with free sparring and will give you specific techniques to help improve
your sparring.
